Last week Allen Mitchels from Indiana and I judged the class this course was used for at the Del Mar National AQHA Show.  Course designer, Ann Dennis, desgined a very forward course that had a lot of flow.  It is another example of Ann's excellent work.

I chose this 2011 course from the Region 2 Arabian Championships for the first "Course of the Month".   It left an impression on me because it was such a forward moving course with a lot of variation.  It started with a couple of jumps followed by  a quick turn.  This course was really like driving a stick shift on a windy road.  A horse has to change gears a lot!    The two gates  were an interesting twist also.
